I was in a foul mood this morning when I thought I lost one of my favorite pearl earrings. Found it in my bra six hours later. Happy ending to 2011.
Late Night Thoughts
1. THE XX NEEDS TO RELEASE ANOTHER ALBUM JUST LIKE “X”. I’M LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM RIGHT NOW AND IT’S DELICIOUS.
2. What am I doing for NYE?
3. My nails are finally dry and I did not mess up a single nail. I win.
4. I really want a fish taco right now.
5. My sister is snoring and it’s kind of annoying but i’m giggling at her in the dark by myself...
i refuse to buy an e-reader

Listening to Charlotte Gainsbourg’s new album while I apply to internships. I realized I will spend the next couple of years applying to things. Just all the things. All of life’s things.
The day after christmas always makes me a little sad. christmas withdrawal.
I am currently sitting amidst my presents (wearing most of them) and watching “Downton Abbey” to my heart’s content.

Tonight, I spent some much needed quality time with my mom. We listened to christmas music, baked 100 cookies, traded some new life stories, and looked through old photos together.
Man, winter break is so good so far.
My parents bought my sister an iphone and they kept it a secret from me. I’m not really sure why to be honest. I have no burning desire to be the owner of an iphone so it just struck me as really funny that they found it necessary to keep that from me. el oh el at my family.
My mom then tried to make it up to me by offering to buy my breakfast this morning. It worked.

Today, I:
- decorated the christmas tree at home.
- made 40 paper snowflakes and plastered them all over the windows in my house.
- watched “Roman Holiday” with my mom over coffee and little cranberry chocolate chip mofns.
- unpacked all my things.
- started making christmas cards for my family.
Day one of winter break = success

No one is in my apartment right now and I’m rocking out to Sara Bareilles at the top of my lungs.
